This tutorial will setup a cdma2000 Mobile IP
call using the Agilent E5515C and Software
Concept's MOB-IP-SIM Mobile IP network simulator. After configuring the
MOB-IP-SIM, E5515C, and mobile station, a simple call is placed and the
post-call logs
analyzed.
Demo using mobile station's built-in mini-browser:
- PC #1 with Web Browser and LAN access.
- Agilent 8960 (E5515C Opt. 3 with E6702B)
- MOB-IP-SIM Model 5800 or 5850
- LAN Hub with 4 or more ports
- LAN cables (Qty 4)
- RS-232 null modem cable
- cdma2000 Mobile IP enabled mobile station with known Mobile
IP provisioning
Optional demo with PC based web browser via mobile
station:
- Mobile Station Data cable or IR connectivity
- Client PC #2 with Web Browser and no LAN access
Software Requirements
Mini-browser demo:
- PC #1 with MOB-IP-SIM Manager software from SCI.
- PC #1 with Ethereal
to parse and display binary logs from the MOB-IP-SIM.
Optional PC based web browser demo:
- Client PC #2 with dialup connection using mobile station
