E5515C Configuration

1. Turn the phone off.
2. Make sure the MOB-IP-SIM unit is ON.
3. Turn on the E5515C Test Set.
4. On the E5515C/E6702A, select the System Config screen.
5. Select F1 Instrument Setup.
6. Highlight the IP Address setting; enter the simulator's address,  then highlight Subnet Mask and enter 255.255.0.0; leave the Default Gateway blank (enter a 0 to make it blank).
7. Press F6 Close Menu.





8. Select the Call Setup screen
9. Select the FCH Service Option Setup screen
   
10. Select SO33





11. Press F8 to select the proper Cell Band and F9 to select the proper Channel for the phone.





12. On the left-hand side of the display, press the More button for screen 2 of 3
13. Press F2 Cell Info
14. Press F2 Cell Parameters





15. Select System ID and change SID to match the phone (typically 2).  Sanyo 4900 uses SID = 4274.
16. Press F4 Registration Parameters
17. Change the Timer Based Registration State to Off.
18. Press F6 two times to close the popup menu and return.





19. Use the E5515C front panel menu to navigate to the Use External PDSN menu and enable the External PDSN:
20. Set the External PDSN address to the MOB-IP-SIM's static IP address.
21. Set the ICP Port to 53613.
22. Set the External PDSN to ON.
23. The E5515C should indicate that the link is established with the MOB-IP-SIM after entering all the external PDSN parameters.
24. Exit back to the E5515C call processing menu.
