Mobile IP Simulators
The MOB-IP-SIM is a network simulator for testing wireless devices that use Mobile IP technology to provide seamless high speed data connections in a mobile environment. The simulator provides the necessary PDSN, Foreign Agent, Home Agent, and Radius (AAA) Server functions to allow the wireless device to complete a Mobile IP connection. All registration and security features are available. The system comes with built-in web pages for stand-alone operation or the wireless device can connect through the simulator to access the public Internet. A comprehensive set of test configuration commands combined with detailed protocol logging provides a wide range of test scenarios that include normal operation, fault recovery, and performance testing needed to verify compliance with the TIA/IS-835 standard.

Model MIP-5800
The MIP-5800 works with the Agilent E5515C and is designed for developers of applications on mobile devices that require a simple Mobile IP interface. Users needing greater control of the IP connection may require the MIP-5850.
Model MIP-5850
The MIP-5850 also works with the Agilent E5515C and is designed for developers of protocol stacks, core embedded code and others that need more control over the Mobile IP network. In addition to all the features of the MIP-5800, the MIP-5850 allows the user to control many of the Mobile IP parameters through either Web-based HTML forms or AT commands sent to the MOB-IP-SIM. The unit also supports the Conformance Script pack CSP-5850.
